Basically, you pay a lot of money to have your name added to the list of owners. You don’t get the thing, you just get to tell everyone you own it. Like if someone let you buy the Mona Lisa for a million dollars, but he gave you a cheap reproduction from the gift shop and put a sign next to the real one that says you own it.
Mmm hmm! Nope still don’t get the appeal. Why would you want money that isn’t safe from hackers & isn’t insured, unlike at a bank? Or an NFT which is just a digital image of something that might not even be theirs to sell?
