Are the ants also enjoying the book?
Pretty sure you can’t mix peanut butter and bubble gum together in real life due to peanut butter being oily. (In fact, that’s why peanut butter is used to get gum out of hair.)
Why else would Calvin be attached to a book?
peanut butter mixed with bubble gum… delicious
A sticky wicket
There is one page that is really hard to read.
At least Calvin has good taste on literature.
A bibliophile! So THAT’S where Calvin get his vocabulary! And he no doubt mispronounces half of it…
I blame phonics
XD. I love it!
Not a library book, I hope.
Sticky hands don’t build character…
Rather thin for a book, comic?
Be grateful it’s not stuck to your head, Calvin!!
Sounds like when Marge gives Lisa some (not so) sound advice when she got gum stuck in her hair.
Peanut butter bubblegum, now that’s something that will stick to the roof of your mouth!
Ought to be interesting next time he tries to open that book!
I was once reading a book about anti-gravity and couldn’t put it down.
Now add some potato chips to the mix for that extra adventuresome feeling.
Probably an Iron Man comic book. Summers and comic books are a perfect match.
Peanut Butter actually acts as a solvent on gum and will dissolve it. That’s an old cosmetologist trick…
another half a dozen years or so, there will be no hobbes, it will be a magazine and his sticky fingers… why spoil it, he will find out
Wait until Calvin is 14, then it won’t be peanut butter mixed with bubblegum.
LOVE Hobbes….
Probably won’t need a bookmark in this case.
Must be one of those health fair give-a-ways printed on “fruit leather”.
Made me laugh , again.
The book is so gripping that even the pages are becoming more stuck together!
Let’s hope it’s not a Library book
i was always told, ‘if someone gets gum in their hair, use peanut butter to get it out’
Yup that is how I get involved with my book, just not sticky hands.
When Calvin becomes a teenager, magazines will be sticky for another reason.
I thought peanut butter was supposed to get rid of bubblegum?
His parents are just grateful he’s reading.
I adore Calvin &Hobbes. One of my daughters has the whole printed set. I am sorry no new ones are coming. But I can enjoy the old ones.
