P2 Fist pump family arrives in time to see how Marty Moon and his sippy cup’s move from the press box to bring the offensive coordinator will work out with the play call – oh, it looks like Signman made it too!
P3 The defense is salivating as they ready to jump the snap as the Milford quarterback continues to use the same archaic snap count for the entire game, what could go wrong for the offense?
Marty may not look, but feels magnificent in the tinderbox puffing Swisher Sweets and partaking some Old Grand Dad. He has a late night date with Mo Knowles, the Milford Diner busy body.
White version of Tays looks like he’s a linebacker or something to me, getting ready to rush the quarterback. And yeah, who says he’s getting the ball? Is Milford running a one receiver offense? Seems like a low percentage passing offense.
And good to see the insane Milford fans are still around. It’s 4th down and desperation time, and the fans are pumping fists like mad during (actually before) the play. They don’t know they’re losing? And speaking of losing, you’re losing out if you’re not reading Mopped Up Thorp.
P-1: Apparently, this game is from the age of physcodelia as Teys turns a whiter shade of pale.
P-2: Using his enormous brain, Marty figures out that as the clock is running out, with a fourth down and long, if Milford doesn’t pick up the first down, they’ll lose. That’s why his parents sent him to college.
P-3: Milford continues to line up with no one on the right side of their center. The strategy seems to be working because the opponent doesn’t have anyone over there either.
What on earth??? Panel #1 shows Milford #21 is white, Last strip it was Tays and he was black. The non English speaking colorists from Bangladesh strike again
So is supposed to be the same game that they were down 6 in the game they needed for the playoffs? Is Tays just jumping from the game, to stuff before and after the game, and then back to the game?
Another thing I just noticed. Earlier in this game, or the one they were losing if it’s a different game, Gil called timeout while they were on offense. Then they went back on the field and Tays was staring into the stands at the empty bleachers where his parents would be if they gave a dámn. If he’s the star player, why was he on the bench? And now he’s not?
Ah ha! I see the topical teen-oriented issue is vaping. Both Tays and the QB are indulging during the game. Seems like the ref should be kicking them out or something.

What? The play hasn’t even started yet. How does Marty know the ball is going to Tays? Does his sippy cup hooch allow him to see the future?

Writers may come and go, but character skin pigment changes and nearly every Milford opponent wearing Carolina blue stays constant

Doesn’t Marty broadcast from an abandoned chicken coop at the back of the end zone?

P2: That comment holds true for those of us expecting any golf this year.

Because that’s the only thing that could possibly prevent converting a 4th and 15!

Tays will drop it, and the point of the story will be that Gil was understanding and supportive.
