I love this one! I would pick Lupin for my yoga instructor any day.

I’ll confess that I’m not sure what’s going on in the first two panels.

The “now you’re dead” was the funniest for me

The title of that last one is unfortunate! At least yoga has no season.

Translation for non-yoda, er yoga people: Cow pose, cat pose, downward facing dog, not sure, frog, happy baby, warrior 1, mermaid is a good name, either warrior 2 or lunge, hot lava and now you’re dead(exhaustion) and savasana between the two, often called dead pose. Love the Yo, i’m a mermaid pose. Not tired after yoga, jstgetting ready to go.

Is “WHEEEEEE” actually a pose – or is it just Lupin?

I woke up to the sound of one of my cats doing “Hairball” pose today. Oh, wait. She was horking up a hairball.

I’ve started taking a weekly class in Chair Yoga. It is a remarkably good workout without the stress on aging joints. Most of it is sitting but we end with a few standing poses with the chair handy for support. I find I am still ok with the Warrior poses but I was never able to hold Tree for very long so the chair back support is welcome.

I’m saving time and skipping to the last few poses…the martini shake, the olive drop, and the pour.

I can’t decide what is funnier, the “Yo, I’m a mermaid,” pose and all the funny pose names or Burt’s honesty.

I would LOVE to see Lupin’s “Yoga Poses” as a mug! Pretty please?

Is the Woman doing “Now You’re Dead” when she’s lying on her yoga mat, staring at the ceiling?

There’s also a tai chi pose called “Move Slowly Until the Heard but Not Seen Yet Hairball is Found.”

This is one of my favorites! My mother is a yoga instructor and when I take class with her I tend to think of the poses this way, which leaves me giggling on the inside while I try to have a more contemplative exterior.

Funny how the brain works. You set out lettering, intending to use Yoda in a clever way, only to look back after it’s published to see that you wrote yoga both times and just made it confusing.

I thought there must have been a panel missing but eventually figured out those green things must be “Yoda” ears. My understanding is that “the force” doesn’t do yoga because telekinesis is just lazier.

It is believed that Hatha Yoga was developed by Prince Hatha who so admired the ability of cats to alternate restless activity and patient calm that he studied their stretches.

The only pose real cats hold for 30 seconds is “bath time”. (Yes, I am deliberately ignoring the disturbingly final, last pose.)
