Of course you have visionaries along the way who develop their own systems. There are seven planets, and seven metals – clearly not a coincidence. And if you ingest the proper metal corresponding to the planet which caused your disease you’ll be cured. Paracelsus… He had to keep moving since he poisoned his patients. (But I’ve had to teach from textbooks that talk about his importance… Of course that is because the author of the textbook had a teacher who thought Paracelsus was important… because his teacher thought Paracelsus was important.)
As a teacher it felt like school for teachers would never end, but I guess thats not a bad thing. But to be honest you learn much more being a teacher than while in school. Th first thing you realize when you start as a teacher is how little you actually know. Experience is the true teacher
Does this have anything to do with the fact that the books that teachers assign are the ones their teachers assigned them when they were in school, which were the books those teachers were assigned when they were in school, which were…?
One of the things my Ma (an elementary grade teacher) had to learn in teacher school was how to stuff a squirrel. As far as I know, she never had to apply this knowledge to any of her pupils.

None of my teachers ever went to teacher school. They were a very unschooled bunch.
