LEGO also is the world’s leading tyre manufacturer. (I wonder what the second most Binged word was in 2021. “Coronavirus” perhaps?)

Well the reason Google was “searched” so much is because Explorer automatically starts a Bing search if you hit enter before you type in the full address.

Anyone who has read the Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy knew that about potted plants.

After all the begonias only thought was “Oh no, not again.”

While that fact about plants is true, none of the mechanisms they use for those senses are shared with animals, let alone humans. In a way, it’s even more incredible that multiple completely different mechanisms developed for sensing light, vibrations, chemicals in their surroundings and actions on their own bodies, and then transmitting processing and acting on that information.

It’s the sort of thing that makes you think that if life does exist on other planets, it must have some sort of intelligence even if it doesn’t apply it in the same way as humans.

A small meteorite is reportedly headed for Lego Land. The damage is expected to be about 50 square blocks.

A man’s wife threw out his LEGO collection dating back to the 1970’s.

She leaves him soon after. His son gathers a group of his friends to look around the house to cheer him up. Soon the whole neighborhood joins in the effort. His father comes home and immediately panics.

“Son, what are all these people doing here?”His son replies “We got some. but we’re going to find every piece dad.”

His father starts to chew his fingernails and pace.

“Its ok dad, we’ve already found some of the bricks.”

He sighs with relief. “Bricks? Ah the Lego bricks. I thought you meant your mother.”

    Another? Oh, all right.

What do a woman’s breasts and LEGO have in common?

They’re both for the kids but the dad ends up playing with them the most.

    Until next time.

They’re not searching for Google; they’re opening up the Google search engine in preference to Bing.

The world’s population is 7.9 billion, so LEGO would only be around half of the world’s population.

I’ve long known that plants respond well, not only to classical music, but to human touch and soothing words.

40s singer Mr. Crosby would likely beg to differ, if he were alive to brag about his two ducks, both of which would go when asked.

Take care, may famed obfuscater Charles “Make Them Guess Your Meanings And Motives So Your Problems Become Theirs” Bukowskord be with you, and gesundheit.

Back in the old days, when we wanted to Google something, we would write the question on a postcard and mail it off to Google inc., then wait 6 weeks for the reply!

There are now 8 billion people on the planet, so the Lego comment is incorrect.

JasonSnakeLover had a computer with Google as its default search engine and did a Google search for Bing to use its search engine instead, the only person to ever have done so.

This business about plants and their feelings, their smell abilities, their seeing—it’s one of those Ripleys things that’s yes and no. It’s more like kinda see, kinda smell, kinda feel. Some plants can see because—as per Googling or Binging—“Plants can “see” their neighbors because light reflected or transmitted from nearby plants has a lower ratio of red light to far-red light. The ability of plants to detect red light, far-red light, and their changing closeness to their surroundings is probably one of the most important ways in which plants can sense.” They can sort of react to light in a way that is crudely informative…Plants feel their way along with roots, some react to impacts, as with a venus fly trap, and so on. Plants can smell…kinda. According to Science Daily, “Plants detect volatile organic compounds, which are essential for many plant survival strategies, including attracting birds and bees, deterring pests”…Ripley’s enables a kind of anthropomorphism of plants with the way they put it…But it depends on what you mean by feel, smell, see…This isn’t a complaint. What else can you do in a comics panel?

The plant could have a point. Appears someone has been playing tic-tac-toe on the man’s arm.

    Good evening all,

A blond was driving in the country, when she sees another blond in a row boat in the middle of a field.

She slams on the brakes, jumps out and screams at the blond in the boat.

YOU KNOW IT’S BLONDE’S LIKE YOU, THAT GIVES BLONDE’S LIKE ME, A BAD NAME, AND IF I COULD SWIM I WOULD COME OUT THERE AND KICK YOUR BUTT.

Thank you, and have a good night.
