Rodin’s The Kiss is definitely having more fun than his Thinker, and way more fun than The Burghers of Calais.
I wonder where Ernie got to.
I was very moved by The Burghers of Calais, but the small statue I bought was The Kiss.
At Museé d’Orsay, they have The Gates of H e l l which features small versions of many of Rodin’s famous works.
So is he thinking of Degas’ The Little Dancer? She was at the Pompidou Center as I recall.
Somehow… I can’t help but wondering if “the Thinker” is not only thinking…
Hmmm … I wonder how it feels to sit there that long with your wrist bent like that.
If he’s thinking what I’m thinking then he’ll find his pants.
He’s thinking the guy in The Kiss is having a lot more fun than he is.

The one in KC is outdoors. He is wishing he had pants because he is freezing his rocks off.
