If the obvious answer is usually the right one, Columbus would have fallen off the edge.

I’ve seen a show or two on finding cyptids like Bigfoot and Chupacabra and the like and the ones trying to find ghosts. Somehow they never ever do. One that does fascinate me though is Oak Island where they find buttons and horseshoes and the like. Oak Island, it seems, was a very busy hub throughout most of history by everyone on Earth. I’m waiting to find out that Neanderthals left their treasures there too.

That is one possibility. Maybe, though, they are so very smart that they know to avoid us is there best way TO survive. Also, Occam’s Razor….

The Bigfoot robot also stomped on Will Henry’s signature because I can’t see it.

“Bigfoot, also known as Sasquatch, is an alien cyborg created by a group of aliens visiting earth; he was constructed by the alien Shalon in imitation of a lower form of life from the alien homeworld, using a technology called “Nyosynthetics,” an advanced form of Bionics which are powered by Mergeron."

And Mom said I was wasting my time watching all that TV as a kid.

Well, that’d definitely be the more interesting explanation all right.

We worried about unintended consequences in “Human factors in design” and “Machine Learning”. This is one reason engineers need a group of diverse folk working on/looking at your plans. There was this one Machine Learning program I looked at and the young men thought it would be a ducky idea to broadcast that you were alone and nearby. They saw an opportunity to hook up. I saw the reasonable chance of getting raped/robbed or murdered. Men vs Women.

According to GW 40k, the Gobbos created the Orks to be workers and pretty much slaves. They were big, dumb, strong, and tough. The Orks, using the above listed qualifications, took over and the roles are reversed. The smaller, yet more intelligent Gobbos still create and maintain, but the Orks tell them what to do.

…I feel like this should be the plot of a made-for-Syfy movie.
