Your yard is sort of a Tinder meet-up spot for two-wheelers.

Now this city has added those ebikes to your yard.

There’s a unicorn in the garden, eating roses.

The plot thickens.

How did they become a destination? It’s a mixed bag. We’re now over-run with bikers. It’s a bike week in Gettysburg. None of them ride e-bikes. They ride the opposite.

Put them in the garage, make them look for them.

This could be a good week!

A present from John and Alex? Perhaps offering the suggestion that by riding e-scooters they can avoid another speeding ticket.

For those needing a little context, the authors of this strip are Canadian. For the last 2-3 years rental e-scooters have been a controversial addition to major cities as the users tend to just abandon them where they obstruct sidewalks, etc. Scooters abandoned in the middle of pathways by Ottawa’s Rideau canal have ended up IN the canal as frustrated pathway users clear away the obstruction. Looks like Betty is now falling victim to this.

Perfect timing! My son broke his collarbone one one of these things, and has surgery, tomorrow, to put it back together.
