I’m reminded of Sir Humphrey convincing Bernard that he both did and didn’t support National Service through correct questioning.

Out of principle, I try not to answer questions where it’s clearly already been decided what my answer is meant to be.
It’s a skill that’s vital in poll design.

About a month ago I participated in a phone poll before the primaries and let’s just say it wasn’t hard to figure out which candidate’s campaign was paying for the poll.
