“Baby Ruth I hear you calling, but I can’t come home right now. Me and the boys were playing, and I can not hear a sound. Just a few more hours and I’ll be right home to you. Oh Baby Ruth, what can I do? Baby Ruth, what can I do?”
Almond Joy to the world. All the boys and girls. Joy to the Swedish Fish in the deep blue sea. Almond Joy to you and me. (Yes Jeremiah was a bull frog….it was a long Three Dog Night.)
We drove through Hershey, PA on our way to the 1964 World’s Fair. The town smelled like wonderful chocolate! I recall the street lamps had the lightbulbs shining down from Hershey Kisses.
I miss when Brach’s was made in Chicago and used better ingredients and tasted way better. OK, being in Chicago, is was fresher from factory to mouth. :)
