Release Jules. He got to Travel Five Weeks in A Balloon In Search Of Castaways, embark on a Journey To The Centre of The Earth, and then travel Twenty Thousand Leagues Under The Sea all the way to The Mysterious Island, and then go Around The World in Eighty Days before he go From The Earth To The Moon.
The release of Jules…..what could go wrong? Plus, Elvis owes the boys some bucks after the Man grows pony tail back. Never bet on anything less than a sure thing, Elvis.
We had no July bugs this year. Not a one. :( I have a field full of milkweed and have only seen two Monarchs this year too. It’s been a very odd summer here.
Yes, Elvis, hair grows, but it doesn’t style itself. Fairly predictable that the man would go back to that style after using it before, though. Hopefully that will correct his balance issues. Meanwhile, yes, let’s get back to the news, as I refuse to believe the July Bug will just be released outside without any antics.
Puckmosis: Jules! Aren’t you supposed to be doing your July travels now?
Jules: Yes. I’m going away shortly. I just needed to help with a mystery.
Puckmosis: I heard. There has been a series of thefts from the Oh-Pun Air Market.
Jules: One would suspect a group of professional procurers, but one has been time traveling and the rest were visiting in Afar this past week.
Puckmosis: What did you do?
Jules: I went to visit an old friend of mine. Jane Marvel, a ladybug living in Agatha’s Village. She is conducting a discrete but thorough investigation.
Puckmosis: I’d like to meet her.
Jules: You’re in luck. She is having tea with Baba-Stet here in the Palace Dining Room. Well, I’m off to see the time.
Puckmosis: Safe time travels. Think I’ll pay the ladies a visit.
At the Palace Dining Room
Puckmosis: Good day, ladies. I wondered how the investigation was going.
Jane: I was just mentioning to Baba how this series of robberies is similar to something that happened in my village. As I told her…
Georgia posted on naming Iggy “This one goes out to any fans of ‘Flight of Dragons’ (one of my favorite movies, since I was four! When we first adopted Iggy, I came very close to naming him Aragh after the wolf in ‘Flight of Dragons,’ due to his markings. It’s pronounced very close to ‘Eric’ or ‘Air-Arc’ in the movie. Eventually I imagined the name being a pain to pronounce at vet offices and such, and I didn’t—but sometimes it feels like a missed opportunity! Especially as Iggy is getting older and filling out, look at this sweet little epic fantasy wolf! The biggest “missed name opportunity” in our house remains Elvis. I came SO CLOSE to naming him “Ares, Cat of War.” If I’d known what his grown personality would be then, I would have! Still, Elvis suits him very well too.”

Jules, you are a ham.
And Elvis, hair does indeed grow. Cutting it is optional, however, and clearly the Man has decided he likes having a tail. Balance is important!

I suspect that the release of the bug will not be as uneventful as The Woman expects.

Must be one of the “clip-on tails” to have just now been noticed. You can find them in the catalog for Tail Extensions for Men.

I myself once tried for a ponytail. Got it down to “bottom of the neck” length before it drove me, as the Brits would put it, absolutely spare.

I love the Man’s ponytail. I have no patience with short hair on myself and I’ve always loved men with long hair.

Hello Orb!
I’ve been “good” for all the cancer treatments…NOW, at the last ones—it’s kicking up a fuss and I’m as sick as a dog.
Please guys, prayers, boops, head bumps, etc.
Keep me in your thoughts, I NEED them.
Thanks!

A little random, from the July bug to the ponytail. Based on Mrs Dunn’s life(?), so this is fine. Love the kitty money bets!
