I feel the same way about all the video games and systems I’ve collected so far.

Smoked bacon does have its allure. But, I seldom get bacon. I have had a love of turkey bacon, but that too is a rarity in my life, now. Though I will insist on having some real bacon bits for my bacon/cheese quiche on Monday morning. Ahhh, heaven.

There is a well-known piece of Calvin and Hobbes fan fiction called Hobbes and Bacon in which Calvin is grown up and married to Susie and they have a daughter who is nicknamed Bacon.

Every morning, Garfield probably has a candlelit dinner for his morning bacon.

I feel that way about my wife. Jon and I are just two doofuses who got women way above their pay grade in life.

I wish I knew the date that Jim Davis started the thread where Liz finally accepts Jon’s date offer and they start going steady, as it happened sometime between the time our local newspaper incredibly dropped “Garfield” from their comics line up and the time that it occurred to me to find it online.

Liz had been the “best thing” to have happened to Jon for 16 years!

The best thing I suppose for Garfield in Jon dating Liz is she is no longer his vet.
