Damages from climate change were close to a TRILLION dollars in the 2010s. Fires, floods, storms and droughts. Expect to top a TRILLION in the 2020s. But spending money to slow it down or stop it is too expensive!!!
Southeast Louisiana has certainly had its share of hot day, however, the last 3 years we have really gotten record level rain, which has tended to keep temps down, one of the aspects of global warming being more water in the atmosphere and us living right on top of the Gulf.
When I lived in the UK, there was a skit that showed what the weather report in Spain would be every day. It was “Scorchio, scorchio, scorchio” every day. Getting like that everyone now.
