I suspect you ain’t seen nothing yet. Already in parts of the Middle East there are days when it’s 120+, which used to happen occasionally but now happen more regularly. In Phoenix, when it’s 135 the pavement will be to soft to drive on.
I lived in Fresno for about 5 years when I was younger due a parent’s job in the late 60s – early 70s. Summer was always hot, 100 and above for weeks. This is going to be the new normal. Thanks Manchin.
My dad refused to have air conditioning. “Summer is supposed to be hot.” And then one day I asked him if they had a furnace in the house. “Harumph. That’s enough of that, young lady.”
In 1969, when I was in the Mekong Delta, when it got down to 95F, we were putting our shirts on. You can get used to a lot, as long as you can ignore what else is going on.
No Republican senator supported a climate plan – where is the party on the issue?
The party has largely abandoned its past climate denialism, but experts and activists say the ideas Republicans have proposed are insufficient or misguided

Better get used to it unless you’re willing to do something about it except talk.

Well, in the U.K., runways are melting and the railroad tracks are warping, so…yes, it’s WAY too hot.

I’ll bet the ancestral Pueblo people living in the (now) Mesa Verde National Park area thought the same thing.. wonder who they blamed?

If Mr. Trump is beginning to feel the heat, wait until St. Peter tells him where to go!
