So he asks for a raise and the boss says “I’m cutting your pay. If you don’t like it, I’ll replace you with a woman.”

Woman, I don’t always complain about the woman’s salary compared to a man’s. I believe the building compared to the comforting of children spells out the answer. Moon river and Spoon Lake is the making of ovulation for making a child is the greatest period of time. You woman can carry a child and grow like my friend The Weed aka Kevin during this experience. We in return can only speculate the wondrous thing. I’ll make some money fishing for clams.

    … where I work…

…(an automobile assembly plant for a parts delivery subcontractor)…

…women get paid the same as the men…

    …raise to the top…

    …are at the top…

…and probably around half the work force…

…even on the white collar end…

This is why some companies tell their employees not to disclose their pay and benefits to each other, to try to minimize their overall workforce pay.

(Legally, it’s OK to do a financial “show me yours and I’ll show you mine”.)

    Name of the game…

Walked into a Duncan and ordered a lemon filled donut. The guy said, “This is a yoyo shop”.

Back in my cost accounting days I usually had access to people’s rates of pay. Every now and again I would get a mile surprise by someone’s comp, either high or low. But nothing quite compared to the time I was working for an engineering/environmental firm, and saw that the owner/CEO paid himself a salary of $50,000 a month. And the company’s results were what you could generously call ‘lackluster.’

On the way, she made small talk about her work and how she liked her job, but she didn’t get the same level of pay and respect that her male counterparts did. But she was the only one that knew the job and had the skills they needed. The others were all hot-pluggable and off-the-shelf. I wondered about that last one for a bit. Were all her co-workers also AIs and daemons? She didn’t elaborate. I spotted the goons, but she said not to worry, that they couldn’t see me. “Actually,” she said, “they can’t see me. You they see, but you are part of this scenario. I haven’t actually told you everything. There’s more to it. Let’s get the data, and I’ll fill you in.”
