Kinda late in the season for corn and soybean. Little early for winter wheat.

If he had some sort of implement on that tractor things may have gone better.

I have been led to believe Treetops is somewhere in the hinterlands of a fictitious east coast state. It is too late for planting corn or soy beans and too early for harvesting crops. That is what the Harvest Moon allows near the autumnal equinox.
