That’s what happens when you allow your dog to sleep in your bed!

When will Mr Martin’s time be over and we can return to funny cartoons from Harry?

Personally, I think the look on his face and him holding a stuffed dolly is pretty cute. I’ve had more than one old or sick dog with that look for exactly that reason.

This is why doggie beds were invented.

I woke up once about a year ago with cold, wet feet, and my almost-perfect beagle with her face on my ankle, which is how she almost sleeps. My best guess is she peed in her sleep. It has happened exactly once and I probably woke her up from my laughing. She hadn’t even moved from the wet spot. I pushed her over, moved my own legs, and went back to sleep. Bed was stripped and all fixed once I got up, made easier by my choice to always use a waterproof mattress pad.

Mattress liners. Thinking ahead is always wise.

poor baby – having flashbacks to my poor little girl before I had to put her down – she never had an accident until she got sick :(
