Interesting how Snoopy lies on his tent in the same manner that he does his doghouse!

Snoopy has a really great life, that makes me smile! Thanks Mr Schulz!

He sleeps in a pup tent, of course!

5 around the campfire and only 3 weenies? The birds had to share !

And none of them actually sleep in the tent.

But Snoopy’s troop all eat seeds not hot-dogs. Those dogs are all of him.

Make way for Snoopy and the Bird Scouts.

Snoopy sucks, but I’ll admit it’s impressive he can sleep on top of a tent without it collapsing.

A pup tent. Obviously.

I’ve started sleeping like Woodstock and friends and I sleep wonderfully. And their steep angle is my perfect angle. I know it sounds strange, but it works.

Bird Scouts. Why fly when you can walk?

I thought Snoopy and Woodstock where the only Beagle Scouts whose names we know. But, a fan website includes these other names: Fred, Roy, Wilson, Conrad, Olivier, Harriet, Bill, and Raymond.

Dang – they really havre the rope stretched tight!

If you had the opportunity to go camping this weekend, or have just come back, I hope you had a good time.

The missing second panel explains what Snoopy is doing in panel one. I looks like he’s giving orders, but he is actually doing a head count of his scout troop. The second panel showed one bird (probably Woodstock) running to catch up and make the count.

Day is done, gone the sun,

I think this is the first time we seeSnoopy and his “Scout Troop”.
