Baby Blues by Rick Kirkman and Jerry Scott for August 23, 2022

From what I understand, my three-year-old nephew attends a special preschool for special kids and that he’s having a wonderful time. Never heard my brother nor his wife get parent/child separation anxiety like Wanda here.

My two-year-old granddaughter had her first preschool class yesterday. It went great.

Wren doesn’t walk yet and she goes to preschool?

PENS, Pre Empty Nest Syndrome

I cried when my girls went to preschool. They just grow up so fast.

Surviving with all the kids in school or pre-school is the first step in empty nesting.

She could home school… There. Problem solved.

Wanda: “I want another baby!!!!!”

This strip definitely proves my point from yesterday about this strip being out of touch with reality. This is the third child, so this is not a new experience. Wanda should be thankful for a little R & R away from Zoe, Hammie and Wren, where she might get a little sanity back into her life.

Lighten up folks this is a funny comical exaggeration, made more extreme or dramatic than it really is.

I know how she feels. It was sad leaving my daughter for her first day of pre-school. I hung around and made a nuisance of myself (didn’t realize that at the time of course).

Left behind…hard.

Enjoy the solitude while you can Wanda.

I thought be easier with the last one, remember only few hours of preschool.
