There are also these definitions of crab in the dictionary · 1 : to make sullen : sour old age has crabbed his nature · 2 : to complain about peevishly · 3 : spoil, ruin. Those are all characteristics of Hawthorn.

As to the career… A mayor of a lagoon isn’t so bad for a crab.

I thought he would be mad at the fact that “crab” means someone who’s really grouchy.
