I thought there were two possibilities and this was not one of them lol

She knows!

She must have a security camera. That’s the only logical explaination.

Perhaps she was meaning to get rid of it. Either that or it wasn’t a 200$ vase.

Maybe she’s going to say: Why, thank you, Nate, for feeding Sherman! Just come in so I can pay you! What’s this? Oh! It’s a tiny shard of glass! It must be from that vase you broke! The one that cost me tWo HuNdReD dOlLaRs!

I like to appreciate all the detail Pierce puts into the art of his comics! Like how Ms. Godfrey wears more relaxed clothing over the summer, as she is much more relaxed! I also love it when Pierce does the panels like how he did in the third one! He even went as far to add a painting in the back of panel two! Thank you, Pierce!

Why is everything in Mrs. Godfrey’s house so… purple? The walls, the picture, the vase… I love purple as much as the next gal, but the entire decor?

Who gave Mrs Godfrey the tip-off? Or maybe it’s just obvious that he broke it. Probably the latter.

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSI wanted that to happen! it’s way more interesting then just her yelling at Nate. I believe that Mrs. Godfrey knew all along, and is proud of Nate for trying to tell the truth about his mistake. she wasn’t going to mention it until he told the truth. GO LINCOLN PEIRCE!

Purse just thinks that we don’t know mr.Godfrey and tried to surprise us with her not exploding in fury and rage. It was predictable from the start.
