You’ve been warned

Rather than wait I,’’ just go to that diner.

Brutus still won’t get it

It’s not exactly an endorsement of the food at that diner.

The food is fresh here, up to a point. The cook features a daily “Yesterday’s special”.

So the cook does have taste.

Panel 2 is interesting today. It explains why we usually see Brutus in profile or looking sideways for I don’t know how many months or years. Brutus has only one eye! He’s the one eyed man. I never would have guessed that.

This is not Da Vinci, it’s more of a Picasso kind of strip. You could tell it was Brutus in panel 2. Close enough, draw panel 3 and let’s call it a day. LOL

My wife was a server in a diner. She made good money but I wasn’t allowed to go there. We would always have to go to someplace clean to eat. I just trust her and let her pick.

it’s sad when the chef doesn’t even like there own cooking… although, seeing as he was cooking, I’m sure he’s tired. So I guess that’s understandable.

I get tired of my cooking, stands to reason the cook does as well. Once again though Brutus is out of luck…

we dine out occasionally mainly to confirm how much better the food is at home…

Use to drive a truck when I was in college. Deliveries were at diners and bodegas. The cleanest diners had the kitchens a pig sty, the mediocre diners had the immaculate kitchens. I never go to the gorgeous diners….

Is it too late to order takeout from the diner on Main Street? Tomorrow, bring your own lunch. I always like the Banquet spaghetti and meatballs dinner. Add a tossed salad and Texas toast with garlic and you’ve got a great meal.

Might want to get that address Brutus for future reference. That cook just might know something about his restaurant that no one’s willing to talk about. Also, variety IS the spice of life….

Only Brutus Thornapple would wait at the diner for his food while the cook is eating at another place. Brutus only taste is no taste at all.

Oh, Brutus got it. He’s trying to think of a whimsical answer!

Don’t ever eat at a diner that has a skinny cook. It means he’s not even eating his own food!
