My new roommate has a mangy dog that’s itchy all the time, so it’s fun to scratch her back and turn on the leg-scratching reflex. He finally gave her a bath, so now she’s butt-scooting on my carpet. It’s hilarious, and I’ve taken some videos of it, even though it’s turning my carpet into toilet paper.

Apparently dogs chase their tails because they mistake them for prey.

I remember earlier in the strip, RJ used to have an unrequited crush on a dog named Dotty. I wonder what happened to her?

Had a dog that used to catch his tail. After a while it got infected and we had to have most of his tail cut off. He would look to one side, No tail! He’d look to the other side, still no tail. He’s still chase what was there.
