Today is:

NATIONAL RELAXATION DAY. That is exactly what I’m going to do today! My first day of vacation and I plan on doing very little all day. Just relax!

NATIONAL LEMON MERINGUE PIE DAY

In my collage, no sheep but several well behaved dogs would monitor some lectures [non-credit].

In high school, one of the teachers used to bring his Dobermans to class. He had the best behaved students….

Yesterday’s hike was my steepest ever. Only 1.3 miles, but with a 1500 elevation climb it took 2 hours! I was very lucky to have the lake to myself on a Sunday. The climb down was actually harder as the trail has loose sand/gravel and rocks and boulders to carefully climb over, and it is easier to slip or fall going downhill even with hiking poles, plus my early morning shade going up was gone.

Poor sweet confused lil’ Oliver. As if Chesney could recite anything better.

I am sure the story has a happy end, well done Oliver ❤️

Just ignore the heckler, Oliver. You’re not doing anything wrong. In fact, your interpretation is quite good. On another note, saw a Wilson’s warbler, four dragonflies, a white-breasted nuthatch, and two butterflies while out walking today.
