I like shrimp, but not enough to have all-you-can-eat. One serving is about all I’d need. But, not for $30.

Brutus is out of luck again, it’s not unlimited shrimp, all he can eat is on one $30 plate and I’m guessing another plate is another $30…

Shrimp is ridiculously expensive these days unless and perhaps even if you live close to the docks. I was at a restaurant a while back and there was a suggestion to add fried shrimp to the meal for $6.00. Curious, I asked the server how many shrimp one got. Three, just three regular fried shrimp. I declined. Later at the grocery store, I bought a box of a dozen for $7.00 and cooked them in the air fryer. I understand the restaurant has a ridiculous amount of expenses, but I thought the asking price exorbitant.

I just don’t trust “all you can eat” food. Or buffets. Or shrimp in a greasy spoon diner.

They’re not going to lose any money on their today’s special, that’s for sure. However, I don’t believe that they will have too many sales either. That’s also for sure….

Only Brutus Thornapple would fall for the all you can eat shrimp special. All you can eat usually means that is a leftover, leftover.

Reminds me of how, I believe it was Comcast, a few years ago, offered an “Unlimited” Data Download Plan for their Internet Service. Turns out it was not Unlimited. There was a point at which you would be charged more if you exceeded it…

Looks like Brutus is wising up a little. At least he thought to check on the price before he ordered.

If you like shrimp, try the Wild West Shrimp appetizer from Longhorn Steakhouse. It costs $11, and they give you enough to make a decent meal. We had some the other day, and it was delicious. No, I’m not connected with that restaurant in any way other than the fact that I love that appetizer.
