Keep trying, Superman. You’ll think of something.

Second draft: “Superman, Superman, he’s great creating a jingle when he’s not taking a tinkle.”

Then again, you don’t hear Spiderman saying “Up, up and away” every time he goes somewhere.

Batman has been happy with “Na-Na-Na-Na-Na-Na-Na-Na-Na-Na…Batman!” since the 60s. I suggest you something simple and catchy. :-)

When criminals in this world appear,

And break the laws that they should fear,

    Ooops, already taken.

    “He’s a fairy, I do suppose

Flyin’ through the air in pantyhose

He may be very sexy or even cute

But he looks like a sucker in a blue and red suit"

Why would he want a silly song when he has one of the best John Williams fanfares? It’s such heroic, inspiring music!

I always thought the N.Y. Mets theme and Spiderman theme sounded alike. “Meet the Mets…meet the Mets…come on out and greet the Mets…spins a web…any size…catches thieves just like flies, look out…here come the New York Mets.”

That’s what happens when you try to write a jingle on “Kryptonite-Pan Alley”…

But he does have, “Faster than a speeding bullet, more powerful than a locomotive….” Maybe he could put that to music.

He’s trying too hard, or maybe song-writing just isn’t his thing. Maybe he could hire the creative lyricist who wrote the Batman theme song in the 1960s.

It has to fit into the melody of the TV show’s theme.
