Every once in a while I suddenly notice their belly buttons, and then I laugh.

Ah, Shrimp Tails" by candlelight…..must be a special occasion.

Today is:

NATIONAL KISS AND MAKE UP DAY

NATIONAL BANANA SPLIT DAY. I like bananas and I LOVE ice cream, but I don’t like them together. No banana splits for me.

NATIONAL WHISKEY SOUR DAY

NATIONAL SECONDHAND WARDROBE DAY. I wear my clothes to death. Even if they’re not second hand when I buy them, they look second hand now.

NATIONAL PARK SERVICE FOUNDERS DAY

At a restaurant that I had not previously been to, I ordered the house seafood soup. I did not mind that the little clams with their shells as there was an empty plate for the debris, but the large shrimp [prawns] were still whole with their heads and unpeeled shells. The legs were rather crunchy and I had very messy fingers from shucking most of the other carapace away, but had no knife for removing that big dark vein that runs down the back. I had no problems with any of the other creatures in the soup.

Nice presentation but not practical.

I would expect Chesney to tell everyone to hide so he doesn’t have to share.

There’s a flock of grackles on the grass outside, along with a couple of squirrels. I’m surprised the cats haven’t gone nuts yet.

Also, don’t hog all the prawns, Chesney.

Ohboy, PRAWNS!!!!

Chesney’s arms are coming out of his big head containing the loud mouth.

Ah, good old prawns. Annie really knows how to treat those kitties well. (Not that Chesney would admit it, of course.) On another note, saw a rabbit and a dragonfly while out walking today.
