The back-to-school comics are always like this, so, nothing really unexpected.

Seems like a compliment until Nate says “it’s not a real class.”

“Now draw this stick figure for our final project.”

“Woo-hoo! Free A!”

Nate makes Mr Rosa is already burnt out. This arc is repeating itself. 6 out of 10.

I wonder what nate would do if Mr. Rosa suddendly announced that there would be real grades in the class.

Already wishing for this arc to be over.

If they aged in real time, Mr Rosa would be able to retire by now. Everybody would be gone, and there will no longer be Big Nate. Why did I say that?

4.5/10 I mean, he’s accurate in a way, but you still work and learn stuff.

Nate is overreacting. Yeah there are times when school sucks, but it’s not that bad. Like I said yesterday, he doesn’t realize how easy he has it, and that when he looks back on this when’s he’s an adult, he’ll wish he was in school again

He meant to say that it’s the class that we all look forward to as there is no stress there.For most of us, that’s true….

…..pffff….let him vent….a good night’s sleep afterwards will do him wonders,and he’ll be improved by day 2…..I think…..

We used to say the same thing about PE. Then we had a PE Teacher get upset about it and had us take a test on the history and rules of various sports. Only one test in what I remember of 8 years of PE. (I don’t really remember PE before 3rd grade and we stopped in 10th grade.)

Art class never had homework. That was always an automatic plus. And it was also one that my parents were never concerned about if I didn’t excel in it. Automatic double plus. And unlike gym, it presented no physical hazards. Guaranteed triple plus.
