Before the pandemic, I would read these two newspapers at the library. Once libraries were closed, I came to this site and Comics Kingdom to read the comics that weren’t in the paper I subscribe to, which is a lot more than it used to be. So today’s development doesn’t really affect me, but I’m sure it will make a lot of people mad.
Two of the papers I look at online thanks to one of the libraries I go to have reduced their comics page to half a page. And it’s the same comics in both papers since both are owned by the same company. Puzzles, games, advice columns and other features are on the other half of the comics page and a second page.
There is an e-edition for subscribers with more comics. They think that will make up for what people are losing. I’ll bet people are going to be mad.
