Guess that Tank’s old football plays have stayed with him. The minute that cake was tumbling, he got the instinct to tackle and grab it.

FLASHBACK to when Tank was had just retired.

Maybe it’s the ol’ OCD acting up, but it seems odd how the cake-carrying baker in panel 3 is so low to the ground when he trips, yet in panel 4 the falling cake looks almost level to (a seated) Tank.

Also, whenever there’s a fumble, don’t most players yell “BALL!” instead of “FUMBLE!”?

And, he’s BAAACK!

Tank is a football player to the last! Even for wedding cakes gone into midair.
