Please don’t take lessons from humans.

We really do not know that much.

I guess it’s supposed to be a bear, but it looks like a very large woodchuck.

You could try a hoke and line, but I don’t think it will be any better.

Well, he has captured the essence of the human fishing technique.

Give a man a fish and you’ve fed him for a day.

TEACH a man to fish and he’ll sit in a boat and drink beer all day.

Lesson from humans minus booze could be useful though.

I thought that the bear was going to start fishing with a pole for a second.

For some reason the tune “The Bare Necessities” pops in my head from looking at today’s strip.

Maybe try swiping right instead of left. Then you’ll meet your match…..er… I mean catch.

The humans are just as unsuccessful, though they seem to enjoy it more.

The momma grizzly we watched (from a safe distance, in a large boat) rarely missed, much to her cubs delight. Once she had swatted enough salmon out of the water to feed her cubs, she swatted some out for herself. It was fascinating to watch.

Poor example, but a good idea. You just need a different hat.

um, he should find a waterfall, stand in it and wait for the fish to try and jump it… they’re usually quite vulnerable at that point.
