See, the difference here is that the British liked having colonies. It made them powerful and gave them access to lots of useful resources. I’m not sure what benefit Bucky provides to the household. This may work out eazier than the American revolution, and, if so, I think Bucky will regret doing it.
Bucky has a pretty solid vision here. If it took a war for the original Declaration Of Independence to be implemented, then “Get out of my room!” should be a bit easier to achieve.

Don’t think that there’s enough light in the closet, Bucky.

That’s what the war was about. We’ve declared independence, now get out of our room.

How will Bucky back up his Declaration? His only armaments are his claws and one fang.

Independence would mean having to move out of the apartment, Bucky. Cats like you on the street become test subjects.

Then, of course, there is the whole pesky Constitution thingy to write.

No, but it did say “get out of our country”.

I find it pretty funny that this arc is about the Declaration of Independence but they are Canadian still connected to the English monarchy.

Mac Manc McManx would have something to say about this … maybe even a Big Mac attack …!
