I will never understand why people leave trashcans in their kitchen, where they cook food. I wouldn’t want all that rotting garbage in my kitchen, and especially not in a place where my dog can get it and possibly die from eating what’s in it. Plus, surely Paul will punish Buckles for Paul’s ignorance. Of course, if everyone did everything normally in the cartoons they would not be as funny. Maybe we need a hilarious set of episodes with Paul taking Buckles to dog obedience. It wouldn’t do any good, but it could really be funny.
Only after every last bit of hope for people food is gone. Our pooch circles the table, sometimes going by his bowl to graze a few tidbits and only eats after the dishes are put away and dishes are done. She’ll even try to lick the plates after we load them into the dishwasher.

My dog eats his dog food, then looks for the crumbs and trash! Of course, Buckles is no ordinary dog!
