Problem SOLVED: My phone is charging in the kitchen, where I also keep my keys and wallet. (that way, I can’t leave without at least SEEING my phone as I pick up my keys and wallet). Of course, also SOLVED: My eyes are poor enough that it’s quite hard to read anything on the phone. ‘Swhy I’m typing on a largish laptop right now.
Too many nights I toss and turn and the last time I remember seeing is 1:30. But I still feel more rested than I would have if I got up and watched the late-night talk shows. Now I work a graveyard shift and all comparisons are moot. If I can get through the night (morning) without the neighbor’s dog barking or the upstairs neighbor playing his video game, it’s been a good sleep.
I have always slept good but since the pandemic, I wake at all hours and can’t fall back for hours…then when I’m finally sleeping my cat pounces in the bed til I get up and feed him. U. G. H. !!!
A good night’s sleep is measured by the number of bathroom visits I have to make. Since I usually go to bed a little after midnight, it would definitely be a sign of a bad night if I had to get up again at 1:30 am.
Last night was a really good night. First visitation wasn’t until 5:30 am!
There have been times when I woke up obscenely early feeling well rested, so I went in to work. Lasted about three hours, then I could hardly see. Usually ended up getting sick.
NEVER, EVER, EVER download “Merge Dragons.” EVER. Not only is it a money pit I’ve tossed HUNDREDS at over this past decade, but it’s TOO ADDICTING!!! I stayed up an hour too late last night playing a fun, adorable event.:(
Are you kidding? Waking up with several hours left before the usual wake-up time is fabulous, as you snuggle back into the covers for more rest. What sucks is when you wake up and it’s only about 20 minutes before the alarm rings! You always feel ripped off…

Hate that, when I wake up in the middle of the night, only to find it is way to early to get up.

Oh but if you can get back to sleep, oh those extra hours feel so sweet!
BasilBruce about 2 years ago
I keep the clock facing away from me so I don’t see what time it is. If it’s still dark, I try to go back to sleep.

So you get up, turn on the computer, look at some comics, make a few comments.

That’s why I hate falling asleep in the middle of the day.
