Okay, now I really called it. Perhaps this is truly why Freddie was showing the Women the new addition, because she knew they’d need to go in there and save some cats! Definitely a mission she would approve of.
A hammer can solve most things in life; the key is knowing how hard to use it. As an authority on taking down walls, it can be great therapy for anxiety, when having a bad day, or even general malaise.
Thanks to all the well-wishers on the Orb, particularly Scaeva, for keeping everyone informed. I was wiped out after Thursday, and Friday was a fog. Here’s hoping the worst part is over for Marie and healing can commence.

If I had a hammer
I’d hammer in the midnight
I’d hammer until morning
All over this house
I’d hammer out the strange sounds
I’d hammer out the whining
I’d hammer out rough between
The addition and my kitties, ah-ah
All over this house

Dionne Warwick and Friends: That’s What Friends Are For
Now we can hear something behind the wall
Let’s not be afraid at all
Sounds like someone needs our help now
And if there’s a way we can assist,
Rest assured we’ll never miss
So just keep on hanging in there!
…….
Keep smiling, keep shining
Knowing you can always count on “we,” for sure!
Because that’s what friends are for!
No need to keep hiding
Behind the hidden wall for evermore!
We’re right there, that’s what friends are for!
…….
Friends We Have Yet to Meet: Well, you’re coming to rescue “we,”
We need help, as you will see
So for this we do thank you
And though, we don’t know you at all,
Somehow I know you won’t let us fall,
So we will do as you recommend to,
…….
Keep shining, keep smiling
Knowing we can really count on “thee,”
That’s for sure,
In good times, in bad times,
We know we can count on you forevermore
Because that’s what friends are for!
