Zoe has now sunk to tattling on her baby sister. If she had wanted her mom to know without it being tattling, she would have come running into the room in concerned panic so Wanda could immediately go attend to the mess. Which now begs the question of how did Wren get a glass of grape juice while not being in her highchair but rather near the comforter? Zoooe!

As former law enforcement, I dislike that term. People who report illegal conduct are not “narcs” but witnesses. We depended on conscientious citizens who follow the “See something, say something” mantra. Too many people refuse to report criminal activity by others, especially friends or relatives, but are the first to complain that the police aren’t doing enough to fight crime. Rant over: of course spilling grape juice isn’t the bad behavior I’m talking about.
