I wished for peace, and became deaf. I wished for evil to go away, and I became blind.

This strip must’ve been published before they discovered that genies are blue.

Actually, I’d say this inspires an interesting thought experiment. What would you ask the genie for, if it can’t be the commonplace: wealth, more wishes, “world peace,” or revenge.
