Guess she’s not an exhibit

Which brings to mind that Mark Twain quote “Wagner’s music is better than it sounds.”

I took my firstborn to the Baltimore Museum of Art when she was about five. She summed up Picasso in one sentence. “I did that in kindergarten.”

Good morning y’all! In Detroit, we have The Heidelberg Project, a massive junk art installation by artist Tyree Guyton.

I’ve told this story before- I read a news article about a gallery show in NYC. One of the pieces of “art” was a banana, duct-taped to the wall. It was selling for $150,000! Predictably, someone took it off the wall and ate it, hence the news story. The curator said in the interview, “The value of the piece was never in the banana, as that would always rot away, but in the Certificate of Authenticity.” $150 grand for a certificate saying that was art! That’s why art is such a scam!

Reminds me of those YouTube videos of ‘statues’ coming to life when someone closely examines them. Nice change from cat videos :^)…

I’ll give that woman credit for not being as rude as most strangers in this comic.

Lint Lady is the one who should be embarrassed. Maybe she took a wrong turn on the way to Walmart.

I wouldn’t have thought the kids capable of being embarrassed.
