I live in a senior citizen high-rise. Once or twice a month, I’ll look out my window and see an ambulance parked in front of the building. Makes me wonder how often there is an ambulance there when I’m not looking.
I went to a meeting of my father’s group once, and someone died during the meeting. First meeting where at the end of the meeting they paused in silence remembrance of members who died during the meeting.Another was a seafood buffet where people ate too fast and choked themselves. I asked the EMS guy how often that happens. “At least daily” was his response.
