i bet it’s the new hair-do

Her hair doesn’t quite look the same to her with it hanging down as she bends over and looks at herself in the water.

Somebody has been reading the old comics. I’ve seen this in one of them…..

’’You look great today ………. relatively speaking."

You got a rare compliment Jane, just go with it.

backhanded compliment? … “you look great … today”

Two different ways at looking at the same thing.

Great … as in the Great Lakes.

My go-to compliment for mothers in their third trimester, that I knew well, is “You’re looking swell today.”

That could be translated to mean ’you’re seeing great today, him not so much.
