We do buy distilled water in gallon jugs. My wife needs it for her CPAP humidifier container. Other than that, I see little use for bottled water. What comes from our tap has been checked for impurities. Our city has very clean water, analyzing to less than 1/1000th of any of the acceptable pollutant levels. The only thing that shows up in an analysis is fluoride, just slightly below the FDA-recommended level for city water. We don’t even have issues with hard water.

Bottled water is just over glorified tap water.

LOL! She’ll never know, but seriously, bottled water is a total rip off and the plastic is worse !

The gallon jugs of water at my supermarket come in three flavors: Natural Spring, Purified, and Distilled.

I guess we’re quite fortunate.

In a lot of countries bottled water is the only way to prevent very nasty ailments.
