He says that like it’s a bad thing. In fact, sometimes I think the world could use a few more type B personalities out there. A new title for Brutus…, The born decaf kind of guy.
although, the more I think about, I wouldn’t mind having my life a little more relaxed and enjoying it while doing something I like instead of what needs done… sigh, I can still dream.
Keep driving in the right lane Brutus. Let those with heart attacks, ulcers and headaches drive the left lane. Graveyards fill up faster with type A’s. Stay calm and carry on. Uncle Ted’s motto.
It sounds like Brutus is experiencing the caffeine doldrums, the let down often experienced after the caffeine jolt. I was a lot better worker when I cut out caffeine.
Some of us don’t drink coffee, don’t really know the lift it can provide. I just can’t even get near the smell of it, so I can only depend on diet Coke, and in bottles/cans, it’s really weak. Too much of it isn’t healthy anyway. Coffee at least has a few redeeming qualities, if not used to make up for inadequate sleep.
God Bless You for being that way my friend. We need to slow this fast paced world down a little. Speed does not necessarily equal efficiency and can lead to more mistakes when we sacrifice care and concern. In the game of afterlife, speed is not a concern. Who got the biggest car, house or most money will be irrelevant. While doing what needs to be done in order to survive and to preserve and protect your family in this world is necessary and important, be that DECAF guy; stop and smell those roses. You will live longer and happier….
Wonderful self-awareness! That’s a wonderful way to do life. Embrace that – that’s why we love you Brutus! And the great thing is, the transition to retirement will be smooth as silk!

Start small. Decaf with a double shot. Work up to adding a sugar buzz with a muffin.
