Quite proficient at labyrinths? Typically, they have just one path to the center and back out, and are built for meditation. Mazes are multicursal, designed to disorient and frustrate. We may not see them for a while, unless Jarvis is carrying a pruning saw in his idiot-rescue kit.
I’m amazed that Jarvis said, “No” to the spoiled brat. Even though Auntie Nell must have some sort of priority over him, it looks like he is going argue and cause some trouble anyway.
Sedgwick being super intelligent, super duper at everything he does, never makes mistakes and never loses at games of all sorts. Is totally pampered, is never wrong is always catered to and with so many kisses on his little behind he probably has chapped cheeks. :-p

I predict he solves it with a chain saw.

MONTY needs some fresh blood, a new character. Any suggestions?
Here’s my idea;
A boy, trapped in an old man’s body, who thinks he’s a Red Panda Well ??

Then Sedgwick was unable to go out of the labyrinth and never see again. The end.

I take it that “the hedge maze” is just one of the standard arboreal features on the Nuttingham estate.

Sailor-Suit Sedgie lost in labyrinth.
Jarvis does not rescue him but instead reports back to Auntie Nell, his real boss.
Will nobody mourn the loss of Sedgwick the 3rd?
