A bird in the bush… um….
Time to set up a hedge fund.
They hedged their bets using yarn
Is it a plastic replica elm? Or a pricey import?
Surely Sedgwick will fare better than Monty, who was a complete fail:

Don’t worry, Sedgewick is an expert with mazes.
Jarvis always knows what to do. PANIC has to be the appropriate reaction here. Sedgwick should have obeyed Auntie Nell instead of being obdurate.
If Jarvis would hold his ward up above the top of the hedge he might see a path to their escape.
Sing it with me (to the tune of Timothy) “Sedgwick, Sedgwick, Jarvis was looking at you…Sedgwick, Sedgwick, Heavens what did he do?!”
I’ll be home for Christmas, …………………………….. Maybe?
Just around the next corner are the Forth family, likewise lost and worried.
“Go get help, Nuthatch!”
I’m surprised Sedgewick has enough brain power to identify the bird.
I’ve been reading this strip for a while, but apparently not long enough. What’s the connection between him and Monty?
“Jarvis?”
“Yes, sir?”
“Panic…”
I’m wondering whether the estate actually has an elm (a now-rare species in North America), or if he’s misidentified the tree. Certainly they’ve got the money to find a still-living American Elm, transplant it to the estate and keep it alive.
Too bad we didn’t get an overhead view of the maze with Jarvis and Sedgie’s location!
Is there suppose to be a connection to anything in this strip! Just enjoy and laugh a time or two!
Keep calm and stray onward, Jarvis! (Along with Little Master, of course.)
