On our May vacation trip the second leg of our flight (San Francisco to Honolulu) was about 6½ hours. Seated around us was an extended family with 6 children all under age 7.
The only thing worse is the guy who feels it necessary to shout boisterously at every minor gain by a bunch of paid professionals he will never see in person. (Usually he has a “team” shirt, which identifies him as someone who will pay money to advertise for others.)

I realized the absurdity of the sports industry and sports fandom many years ago. I think it’s a form of insanity.
