You all sort of had your hopes a little high for a dog that you fetched with a Pac Man. You know, you really didn’t set the bar all that high.

I always thought the “real” world in Matrix was a LOT nastier than the Matrix world. And if you take the Red pill and return to the Matrix world, suddenly you’ve got Agents all over you.
