I applaud Chesney’s snarky businesses but only because he is a cat. Graham has created quite an intelligent monster! Yesterday I took Craig’s little jack Russell on a great hike up to a gorgeous cascading stair step waterfall where one can walk out on flat dry boulders in many sections and sit in the middle! We left at 4:30 to be on the trail at 7 in a crisp 32 degrees but the uphill climb had me peeling off layers very quickly. Lundy Canyon is known for its waterfalls, fall color and summer wildflowers, even in this low water year we could still see 3 waterfalls coming from high up and there were plenty of ponds and stream crossings. Had it to ourselves for the first few hours but met plenty of people and friendly dogs coming back down.

“Summer come loudy” cracked me up!

If Yale doesn’t have classes for its human students, no one needs to know.

So cats can’t teach at Yale. What about Harvard or Princeton? I imagine a class taught by a cat would be very interesting. On another note, saw three ravens, two dragonflies, three finches, and four chickadees while out walking today.
