I got mine AND my Booster in the same arm at the same time. Didn’t hurt. Didn’t hurt the next day or ever. Actually I was surprised. With the first Booster. I couldn’t lift my arm for 3 days.
Broomie is starting to remind me of Fraiser Crane. When he got a shot on his radio show, he screamed so loud that poor Roz had to yank her earphones off.
We got our flu shots last week. I got the super-duper old person shot and my entire upper arm turned red for three days. My wife also had a reaction, but not as bad.
I didn’t even feel the needle or any soreness the last two times I got a flu shot. Made me wonder if they really gave it to me. I didn’t get one last year because the doctor’s office and Walmart were out. Apparently, I didn’t need it.
I got both the flu and covid booster #3 shot two weeks apart. Got flu like symptoms for 3 days afterwards for both. Which is why I scheduled them so far apart. Last 2 booster shots did the same thing. Some years the flu shot affects me, some years it doesn’t.
This reminds me when I was stationed onboard USS Mississippi (CGN-40) back in the ’80s while we on a Med(terranean) deployment. I was getting a flu shot in sick bay when our Photographers Mate took my picture. I gave him a good grimace. ;-p

1500 year old witches don’t need booster shots, they can fly over all the viruses that infest the world!

When I was 17, I had tetanus and smallpox shots in my left arm. Felt like it was coming out of its socket!!

she really is a drama queen even more than a kid. I guess needles are the way to make her run away.

If she switches the final vowel, she can also practice howling at the moon (or harmonizing with the Werewolves of London).

For someone who regularly sits on cactus, a shot shouldn’t be a problem.

Almost operatic, Broomie! You seem to be in top voice. Let’s hope the flu shot dispensers appreciate your performance art….
