Printer support is generally, just buy a new one Sir, it’s cheaper than the ink is

I did end up buying a new printer. But I had to buy a new PC, first. Nothing out there supports Vista.

2012 rerun. A well deserved vacation time for Mac and Bleeb, so we have to entertain ourselves. Hmm, Mac and Bleeb… that would make good names for a cool cop duo… like Starsky and Hutch. I can’t put my finger on it yet, but I think it’s already been done.

Click on Apple icon in upper left corner of screen, select About this Mac, select System Report, select Hardware, select Printer and read the serial number off of the screen. Even an IT idiot such as myself can do that.

Something you can’t convey via text but also add to the above with a barely understandable foreign accent.

Once you find the number they tell you that you’ve voided the warranty by opening it!!

@Wilde Bill- VISTA?? WOW!! Practically NO ONE uses Vista anymore! That’s why there are no support programs for it.

It’s hard for me to see the serial number on some of my devices. I often need to sneak my phone into position and take a picture.

Missed the “first, make sure you’re using a brand new, official ink cartridge” step. :)

Not very good tech support if he doesn’t know how to find the serial number on the computer. Plus that printer looks like something from the stone age.

If you need to call tech support you probably won’t understand the instructions….

Tech support for printers hasn’t improved since 2012.

Hello, gang! As you can tell, I’ve taken a week break, so I hope you enjoy some flashback cartoons from 2012, the pre-Bleeb years! I spent the week visiting my syndicate in Kansas City. Great folks there, like you folks here!
